Who We Are
Don't let our name confuse you. Even though Soroptimist International of Junction City, Oregon is a global volunteer organization we are made up of local women from Junction City and surrounding towns. Our mission is to provide women and children with access to education and training they need to achieve economic empowerment. Like the loose meaning of the two combined Latin words, soror and optima, Soroptimists simply want the "Best for Women®."
Find out more about us at one of our meetings, every second and fourth Tuesday of the month, twelve o'clock at Shadow Hills Country Club in Junction City or contact us below.

As a member of SI/Junction City, you are a part of a dynamic volunteer organization of women who work to improve the lives of women and children. We participate in both local and global projects, benefiting women and children. Together we can do so much more than we could ever imagine doing alone. As individuals we have a wide range of time, skills and interests to contribute. There is something for everyone!
To maintain high ethical standards in business & professional life.
To strive for human rights for all people and, in particular, to advance the status of women.
To develop a spirit of friendship and unity among Soroptimists of all countries.
To develop interest in community, national and international affairs.
To contribute to international understanding and universal friendship.
To develop the highest concept of patriotism.
